Intermittent loss of communication with Cetac ASX-560 autosampler

Environment

Cetac ASX-560

Cetac ASX-289

Resolution

Moved USB cable which connects autosampler to the computer from a USB 3.0 port (typically identified by a blue insert within the port connector - see image to follow) to a USB 2.0 port. Please reference iCAP Q Service Alert Pi 112.

USB 3.0 port

Reconfigured COM port settings for ASX-560 to reflect the new COM port the autosampler set up on. This knowledge article can ge referenced to complete this task: Adding Autosampler in Qtegra

Enabled all of the MSMQ features using this knowledge article: Qtegra for ICP-MS and ICP-OES Software Issues

Analysis

Communication would seemingly restore on its own without any user invovlement but due to the loss of communication in the first place the LabBook would become interrupted and therefore the analysis would cease.
