Trouble with Execution of DIA Method

Issue

A customer with an Orbitrap Exploris 480 which had tune software version 2.0 tried to run a method with a DIA application in which the mass range went from 396 – 500 m/z for one experiment and 396 – 502 for another experiment, and the customer got the error message below:

acquisition server error - image.png

Environment

Orbitrap Exploris 480

Resolution

The reason why this error occurs is because of a bug in version 2.0 of the tune software. This will be corrected in a future version of the tune software.

In the meantime, the recommended workaround is to use a DIA precursor range such that the last m/z value exceeds 524 m/z in order to mitigate this problem.
