How to check BIOS Settings/Version

Issue

I am having disconnection issues with my instrument, where can I locate the BIOS settings on my computer to confirm that I have the latest version?

Resolution

1. To bring up the Run dialog box, press Windows key + R key.

2. In the run dialog box, type regedit to access the Registry Editor.

3. Click on: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DESCRIPTION\BIOS to see the BIOS settings and version. Refer to Figure 1.
